The Feaster Family Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its new website www.feasterfamilyfdn.org, a space created to connect, inform, and inspire action around mental health, suicide prevention, and wellbeing.
The new site reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to education, advocacy, and culturally responsive care. It is designed to make it easier for visitors to learn about our mission, explore mental health resources, and engage with initiatives that make a difference across Massachusetts and beyond.
A Platform with Purpose
The Feaster Family Foundation was established in memory of Joseph D. Feaster III, whose life continues to inspire efforts to change how we think and talk about mental health and suicide. While Joseph’s story is part of our beginning, this new chapter focuses on what comes next: supporting individuals, families, and communities in finding strength, connection, and healing.
Our new website is more than an online presence; it is a platform for community. Visitors will find opportunities to get involved, stories that remind us why awareness matters, and updates on programs and partnerships that help people access the care they deserve.
What Visitors Can Expect
The website offers a clean, easy to navigate design that highlights the Foundation’s work and the organizations we support, including Samaritans, NAMI Massachusetts, Sankofa Institute, and the Massachusetts Association for Mental Health. Visitors can:
- Learn about our mission and the impact of our advocacy
- Explore our blog, featuring articles on mental wellness and suicide prevention, community care and personal stories of recovery and resilience.
- Discover ways to give or partner, with clear information on how contributions support programs and services
- Access resources that promote awareness, prevention, and sustained support
Our goal is to make the Foundation’s work more visible and accessible while reinforcing the message that mental health is everyone’s business.
Advancing Awareness and Reducing Stigma
Too often, mental health challenges are experienced in silence. The Feaster Family Foundation continues to challenge that silence by creating pathways for open dialogue and mutual understanding.
Through partnerships and storytelling, we encourage people to share their experiences, seek support early, and advocate for compassionate systems of care. Each article, event, and collaboration we share is part of a larger effort to build a more informed and inclusive conversation about mental wellness.
Looking Ahead
The website launch marks an exciting milestone and also a beginning. Over the coming months, we will continue to grow our digital presence with new blog articles, community spotlights, and stories that highlight the ongoing work of the Foundation and its partners.
Visitors are encouraged to sign up for updates, share content that resonates, and join us in expanding awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
The Feaster Family Foundation remains guided by one simple belief: when we come together as a community to listen, to learn, and to act, we can make a lasting difference!
